Description

Final MEP studies with application-level detailing were developed for all building systems, supporting the issuance of the building permit and the full operational upgrade of the hotel unit.

The scope included HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing and drainage networks, fire protection systems, swimming pool electromechanical infrastructure and external utility coordination.

Particular emphasis was placed on energy efficiency optimization and the strategic integration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), enabling reduced operational costs and alignment with modern sustainability standards for hospitality facilities.


Executive Summary
The project involved the complete modernization and upgrade of the MAKEDONIKOS ILIOS Hotel from a 3-star to a 4-star category facility, including redevelopment of the surrounding area and construction of new outdoor swimming pools. Comprehensive MEP studies were carried out to support the building permit process and ensure compliance with upgraded hospitality standards.
