• 3D clash-free coordination modeling
• Integrated medical gas and BMS systems
• Compact, high-efficiency spatial engineering approach
Description
A full application study and construction-level documentation were developed for all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems of the modular healthcare unit. The design scope included HVAC systems with cleanroom zoning and pressurization strategy, electrical installations, drainage networks, medical gas systems, fire protection, access control and Building Management System (BMS) integration.
Due to severe spatial limitations within the containerized structure, all MEP systems were designed using detailed 3D coordination modeling to ensure optimal routing, service accessibility and equipment maintainability.
The primary engineering objective was achieved: full internal accommodation of all required equipment within the container envelope without compromising performance, regulatory compliance or operational safety.
Executive Summary
The ORGLAB CLASSIC OMPULE project involved the detailed MEP design of a containerized mobile healthcare unit installed within the premises of HYGEIA Hospital in Athens. The unit was developed to operate under controlled cleanroom conditions, requiring strict spatial and mechanical coordination due to the confined installation envelope.
